OCT 13, 2020 – Philippine Government under the Administration of the President Duterte, through the initiatives of the University of the Philippines, led by Executive Vice President Dr. Teodoro J. Herbosa and the CYBERCRIME INVESTIGATION AND COORDINATING CENTER (CICC), headed by EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR CEZAR O. MANCAO II join hands to collaborate in furtherance of its objectives with the implementation of a certificate course program through the UP College of Law, the UP Diliman Extension Program (UPDEPPO), and the United Nations through its implementing arm UP-CIFAL, which is in partnership with UP. UNITAR is an autonomous UN body established in 1963, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research is a dedicated training arm of the UN System and has the mandate to enhance the effectiveness of the UN through diplomatic training, and to increase the impact of national actions through public awareness-raising, education and training of public policy officials. This institutional partnership with a Memorandum of Agreement was witnessed by UP Regent Atty. Angelo Jimenez; UP College of Law’s Atty. JJ Disini; Dr. Edna Co, head of UP Clark and Olongapo; DED JAMES A. LAYUG; COS Atty. Neore Salve; and Dir. Mary Rose Magsaysay.
